Kenny Kurtz

Kenny Kurtz grew up in Westchester County, NY and thoroughly enjoyed playing sports (football, basketball, and baseball in high school, and football in college), taking the train into Manhattan to see Broadway musicals, and singing in bands.
He went into the advertising business in Manhattan upon graduation from college and was tasked with a move to Los Angeles to open a new office for his firm there. After thirteen years in Los Angeles, he was asked to head up an advertising sales office in Atlanta, and he and his better half Leisa have lived here ever since, raising two daughters that have lived in Milton for the entirety of their lives. Both daughters were involved in the performing arts at Milton High School, and his oldest daughter got the musical theatre bug to such a degree that she is actively pursuing it as her career. As such, Kenny has been thrilled to spend the past dozen years regularly doing one of his three favorite things of all time… enjoying great musical theatre (from Milton HS’s Theatre Program right through to Frozen on Broadway, and On Tour where his daughter played Princess Anna).
Throughout his time in NY, LA, and Atlanta Kenny has stayed involved musically (from singing tenor in a professional 150 voice chorus that performed at Carnegie Hall, and the Amalfi Music Festival to playing acoustic gigs… solo, and most recently with an acoustic trio he put together called Gray Matters). He very much looks forward to witnessing, and enjoying all the amazing local talent that Milton has on tap in Season Three of Milton’s Got Talent!
